Shopping
Close to the hotel, there are several shops with leading international and local brand names (Escada, Rašica, Palmers, Boss) and of interesting Slovene designers (Almira Sadar, Marjeta Grošelj); you may admire some glassware or crystalware, antiques or traditional or contemporary Slovene arts and craft items (Rokus). An interesting selection of Slovene and foreign designers is available in Vale Novak Concept Store, situated in the neighbourhood of the hotel.

The city centre boasts - apart from miscellaneous shops and a few department stores - numerous sales galleries. Located outside the city centre, in the northeastern district of Nove Jarše, there is the BTC City, one of the largest shopping centres in Europe. Most of the city centre shops are open from 8:00 to 19:00 on weekdays and from 8:00 to 13:00 on Saturdays, while most of suburban shopping centres are open throughout the week. American Express, Diners, Master Card-Eurocard and Visa credit cards are accepted in practically all the shops.
